About Aguilar Family Childcare
Aguilar, Family Child Care is a play-based fun, loving, nurturing, and educational child care for children between the ages of 12 weeks to 12 years old. In our child care children get to learn about their numbers, shapes, colors, letters, days of the year, months of the year, seasons, planets, manners, how to share, communicate, socialize, and much more. A play-based child care is where your child or children get to explore and express themselves through daily play, but still get to learn everything needed to be prepared for Kindergarten. Here at AFCC we offer four meals a day of which include breakfast, lunch, and two snacks. During our mealtimes we all get to sit together to have a “family meal setting.” AFCC also offers tutoring and transportation to and from school for school age children.
Aguilar, Family Child Care priority is the safety of our children. We understand that your child’s care is very important to you. Staying somewhere new and unknown can be hard for some children and change is never easy. Our goal here is for your child to feel safe and welcomed. We can assure you that all children are and will be loved, protected, and most of all safe. I truly hope that Aguilar, Family Child Care gets to become your child’s home away from home and for parents to know their child is getting the best care possible.

About Our Provider - Monica Aguilar
Hello families!
My name is Monica Aguilar. I am 25 years old and majoring in Child Development as well as Business Management. I have earned units in Child Development and will soon be getting my Teachers Permit in the state of California. My child development passion started after graduating high school back in 2014. I started by babysitting children of all ages, years prior and quickly realized how much I enjoy caring for little ones.
Growing up I always wanted to be the owner of my own business but never really knew what field I’d want to specialize in. I got the opportunity to take a few business classes my first year of college. A few years later, I was offered an Assistant Teacher position at a Montessori school down in San Diego County. I eventually transferred to work for a non-profit organization as a teacher at a child development center working with children ranging from 12 weeks to 5 years old. My time with this organization made me realize the importance of trust and reliability in the child care provider as this directly impacts the lives of the parents/guardians of the children. Providing an environment in which the child feels safe and understood gives their parent/guardian peace of mind throughout their day.
I recently moved to Riverside County and worked as an assistant with various child care providers in the area. With their guidance and support, I decided to open my own in-home child care to dedicate myself full time in doing what I love most – caring for little ones. At AFCC I incorporate my background in child development, both educational and professional, to assist enrolled children by working together with their families to help them meet their age-appropriate milestones and goals. I hope to also assist families in finding resources in our area should they need community or outer organizational support.
